How can we help?
Find answers about the RacePSL platform, racer passports, standings and result notifications.
Racer Passport
What is a RacePSL Racer Passport?
A Racer Passport is your official digital racing identity on RacePSL. It contains your career record — championship entries, race results, points history and performance data — in one shareable profile.
How do I claim a racer?
Navigate to the Passport section and search for the racer by name or race number. Once found, select Claim Racer and complete the registration process. Parents claiming on behalf of a minor should use their own contact details.
Can I claim more than one racer?
Yes. A single account can manage multiple racer passports. This is designed for team managers and parents who oversee more than one competitor.
What happens after payment?
Your racer's passport is activated immediately after successful payment. You will be redirected to your dashboard where the claimed racer card will appear. A confirmation is also sent via WhatsApp if a number is registered.
Is the passport linked to MSA registration?
RacePSL tracks racers across all championships it covers. MSA registration is a separate requirement managed by Motorsport South Africa.
Standings & Results
How quickly are results updated after a race?
Results are updated as soon as official classification data is imported from the event. For manually entered events, results typically appear within a few hours of the event concluding.
Why does a racer show zero points?
Zero points can occur for several reasons — a racer may have been classified but not scored in that round, may have a pending judicial review, or may have been declared unfit to compete by the medical officer. The reason is recorded and visible to authorised officials.
Are penalty deductions reflected in standings?
Yes. All confirmed judicial penalties, including points deductions, are applied before standings are published. Pending decisions are marked accordingly.
Where can I see historical results?
Each racer's profile page shows their full results history within RacePSL. Championship pages show round-by-round standings for the current season.
WhatsApp Notifications
How do I receive race result notifications?
Result notifications are sent via WhatsApp to the number registered on your passport account. Ensure your WhatsApp number is correctly entered in account settings.
What information is included in a result notification?
Each notification includes the racer's name, race number, event name, finishing position, points scored and current championship standing.
I am not receiving notifications. What should I check?
First confirm your WhatsApp number is correctly saved in account settings. Ensure you have not blocked the RacePSL WhatsApp Business number. If the issue persists, contact support.
Account & Access
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, select Forgot Password and enter your registered email address. A reset link will be sent. If you do not receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
Can I transfer a racer passport to another account?
Passport transfers are handled manually by support. Contact us with the racer name, current account email and the email of the receiving account.
Data & Privacy
What racer information is publicly visible?
RacePSL displays racer first name, surname and race number on public-facing pages. This is information already published in championship programmes and official entry lists. No contact details, addresses or medical information are ever displayed publicly.
Does RacePSL sell or share racer data?
No. RacePSL does not sell or share racer profile information with any third party. Personal contact details remain private and are used only for platform functionality.
How is my data protected?
